周雅平，女，上海市人，现为世界书画家联合会会员。上海中国书画院院长程十发老先生称周雅平为:未来绘画界有造就的女画家。从小喜爱画小动物，30多岁携儿子随程十发先生学画。她临摹许多北方名家、特别是刘继卣大师的走兽图，神态逼真，天真可爱，程老给予了很高的评价。周雅平擅长水墨大写意，笔力奔放，用墨到位，独具一格。她取法于沈周、陈淳、徐渭、八大山人等各大名家。经程十发先生和其他名师指点，在艺术道路上不断长进。作品连续几年在国内外展出，二O一九年十月在上海朵云轩举办个人画展，深得美术界同行和广大观众一致好评。周雅平性格豪爽，为人正直。她在艺术道路上走过来并不平坦，艰难、曲折造就了她。她的喜怒哀乐充分体现在画中，用色、用墨既有力度又有内涵，时常见景见物，突发灵感，立马挥笔，不愧为当今难得的有灵气的女画家。
