水果黄皮,在南方早有名气。黄皮的果皮因品种的不同而呈现浅黄、金黄和黑金色等颜色,同时果皮还主要提供了黄皮的香气。

Huangpi fruit is already well-known in southern China. Depending on the variety, the peel of Huangpi can appear pale yellow, golden yellow, or black-gold. The peel is the main source of the fruit's fragrance.

黄皮的果肉像一颗小葡萄,软嫩而细,内有一个或多个种子。因带有草药和松节油的味道,对受众有一定门槛,但确是夏日解暑神器。

There are various ways to enjoy Huangpi. You can wash it and eat it like grapes, or prepare it like the people in Hainan do by making salted Huangpi water. Additionally, it can be made into dried fruit or jam.
