The flesh of Huangpi resembles a small grape: soft, delicate, and containing one or more seeds. Its herbal and turpentine-like taste can be an acquired one, but it is a great tool for cooling down in the summer.

黄皮的吃法多样，可以洗干净，像吃葡萄一样咕噜噜地吃下去；也可以像海南人一样制成老盐黄皮水；此外，还可以做成果干、果酱。

There are various ways to enjoy Huangpi. You can wash it and eat it like grapes, or prepare it like the people in Hainan do by making salted Huangpi water. Additionally, it can be made into dried fruit or jam.
