20世纪初，随着现代经济的发展，机织布和丝绢、绸缎等面料开始传入朝鲜族聚居地区，受此影响，朝鲜族服饰的颜色也变得多样起来。

In the early 20th century, propelled by the advances in the modern economy, machine-woven fabrics, silk, satin, and other textiles found their way into the regions inhabited by the Korean ethnic group. As a result, the palette of colors in Korean ethnic clothing became more diversified.

朝鲜族传统服饰的最大特点是斜襟、无纽扣，以长布带打结，男女服饰迥然不同，男人穿裤，女人穿裙。男装的裤裆和裤腿都较宽，裤脚系布带，便于盘腿席坐；妇女所穿的短袄长度及胸，长裙则长及脚跟。

The distinctive features of traditional Korean ethnic attire include a diagonal front opening, the absence of buttons, and the use of long fabric belts for fastening. Men's and women's garments exhibit notable differences, with men donning pants and women opting for skirts. Men's pants feature broad crotches and legs, with fabric belts tying the cuffs for the convenience of sitting cross-legged. On the other hand, women's short jackets extend to the chest, while long skirts gracefully reach the ankles.
