Soldiers from the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment (ACR) competed in the 2025 QRPX, a low-power high-frequency (HF) radio communications exercise at Fort Irwin, March 20-22. Hosted by NETCOM, the event brought together 200 U.S. and Canadian service members vying for the title of "Army's Best Signalers." Participants tested their long-range communication skills using various methods, including HF radio, voice, internet, and tactical messaging apps. The competition highlighted the critical importance of HF communication in contested environments, especially against peer adversaries. The 11th ACR's participation demonstrates their commitment to maintaining this vital command and control capability.
