These plants require extremely high water quality, and in today's context of increasing global environmental pollution, Lugu Lake has become their last habitat.

作为云南海拔最高的湖泊，藏在川滇交界茂密山林中的泸沽湖，也是中国最深的淡水湖之一，其湖水最深处可达93米，最大能见度为12米。

As the highest-altitude lake in Yunnan, hidden in the dense forests at the border of Sichuan and Yunnan, Lugu Lake is also one of China's deepest freshwater lakes, with a maximum depth of 93 meters and a maximum visibility of 12 meters.
